My Reality

I am a African American Female who has suffered from one of the worst cases of Endometriosis  of the GI tract(Stage IV). I endured pain for most of my childhood. Being in pain for many years being led to believe this the normal. Ladies this is not normal... In- fact it is abnormal and should not be ignored! I had a child at age 21-- so the furthest thing form my mind was Endometriosis. At age 35 I recieved my final wake-up call. I was diagnosed with ENDometriosis and nearly loss my life.. I have suffered from multiple complications due to Endometriosis & the Life threating part was a Pulmonary Eboli (blood clot-lungs). I am currently writing my Book & sharing my story to help and empower women who knowing & un-knowingly suffer from this taunting disease. I am starting this Blog as a place for women & girls to come together and vent and share thier stories. We as women can EMpower one another and help ease the pain. Education is very important with a disease like this. You cannot fear the unknown. The more you know the better you can manage a pain FREE lifestyle...
